What is the IB?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is more than a curriculum. It is a philosophy of education that empowers students to think critically, act with integrity, and engage with the world around them.

At The Overseas School of Colombo, we are proud to be the only school in Sri Lanka authorised to offer the full IB continuum – the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). From age three to graduation, every student experiences a consistent and progressive approach to learning that is internationally recognised as one of the most rigorous and respected pathways in education.
