Challenges to Evolve

Our journey towards becoming an anti-racist and socially equitable school where everyone has a right to belong and no one is disadvantaged has been marked by intentional and reflective practices. We initiated comprehensive professional development programs that emphasize self-awareness, knowledge, and understanding.

We faced the challenge of recognizing where our curriculum lacked representation of diverse perspectives and worked diligently to advocate for fair inclusion of all voices. Addressing this has been a transformative process.  Our goal is to continually challenge ourselves and evolve in our understanding of diverse cultures, languages, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. By embracing discomfort and promoting cultural humility, we strive to create a truly equitable learning environment. Our commitment to principles of inclusion and belonging is unwavering, as we work towards a future where every member of our community feels valued and included.
