Our Student Counselor, Mr. Donald Tingley, works with kindergarten to Grade 12 students providing guidance whenever required. The counselor liaises with teachers in students’ assessment, monitoring of academic progress and assisting or advising teachers in addressing the particular educational, social and emotional needs of individual students. The Counselor plays an important role in providing short-term Counseling and Psychotherapeutic Services for students and parents when such help is required. He works closely with parents to support student’s achievements and personal growth, coordinates effective communication among students, parents and teachers and helps new students to adjust to life in the school community.
As part of Career Planning and Accessing Tertiary Education, our Counselor provides individual assistance to students in understanding, planning, and selecting a career from different national systems of tertiary education worldwide.
As College Counselor, he provides assistance and support to students in the order of necessary testing, reference, and application materials on college courses and assists with college application procedures. Our Counselor also maintains close relationships with university representatives from USA, UK, Canada and Australia to monitor our students' college applications.
