OSC boasts a fully modernised and air-conditioned campus set on a purpose-built, green and spacious campus designed to create a natural setting for students living in a busy city. We enjoy first-rate facilities:
ClassroomsOSC has bright classrooms, all of which face onto outside walkways, designed to create an ideal atmosphere for learning. All classrooms have IT connectivity to the school server and internet. Desks are designed for flexible grouping and project work. LibrariesAn extensive and inviting library of over 30,000 books is available to students, parents and teachers. The library acts as an important resource centre for Primary and Secondary School students, with books ranging from reference books to subject-related books, fiction, comics and books in mother-tongue languages. CanteenStudents have the option of either bringing a packed lunch or purchasing wholesome food and drinks at our canteen. With a view onto the sports field, this air-conditioned, well-tended eating space is ideal for a relaxing lunch or snack at break time – all students each lunch together at staggered times in the canteen under the supervision of staff. The canteen is operated by a private catering company which offers students a varied weekly menu (published in the weekly OSC newsletter). The school has water fountains situated around the campus with fully filtered water. Health unitWith the health and safety of our students being of utmost importance, we have a full-time qualified school doctor to attend to students who become ill during the school day. The doctor is available during school times and will decide whether a student remains in school or whether he/she needs to be sent home. In the latter case, parents will be contacted immediately and arrangements will be made with parents and school officials to send the student home. |
