With the health and safety of our students being of utmost importance, we have a full-time qualified school doctor who runs a health office to attend to students who become ill during the school day. The doctor is available during school times and will decide whether a student remains in school or whether he/she needs to be sent home. In the latter case, parents will be contacted immediately and arrangements will be made with parents and the consent of the appropriate school officials to send the student home.
The school doctor will have student medical records of all students compiled from the student medical forms which must be completed and sent to the school annually. Parents must inform the doctor of student health problems, contagious diseases and medications. |
