| The place where most learning takes place in a school is in the classroom. OSC has bright, air-conditioned classrooms which are conducive to creating the optimum atmosphere for meaningful learning. All classrooms have IT connectivity to the school server and Internet. From Pre-school to Grade 12, classrooms are designed to meet the learning needs of the subject and age of the students. Teachers are given freedom to create the learning environment that best suit their subject and the task at hand. Clustered desks encouraging group interaction is the most common classroom set up, as would be expected in a student-centred school. Classrooms are usually bustling with activity and the walls display students' work as well as the key criteria for assessment in the IB Programme. |
