| We have three bright and spacious art studios, one has been designed for the exclusive use of IB Diploma Visual Arts students, one for primary and one for secondary. Students' artwork is prominent throughout the OSC campus. The art studios are centres for creativity. With our holistic school mission, creativity is something that needs to be encouraged, harnessed and celebrated. Students can work in many different media, including oils, crayon, pottery (we have pottery wheels and a kiln), photography (we have our own dark room), batik or sculpture. The art rooms are noisy, busy and creative places for students. As of 2005, the graduating class will select one masterpiece as a permanent exhibit in the foyer of our new auditorium. |
