We believe
that sports are a fundamental aspect of child development
and a lifelong skill. All students at OSC from Pre-school
to Grade 12 have Physical Education classes, including swimming
every week.
In competitive sports, our OSC Geckos are proud of their aquatic
achievements. We compete in the SAISA (South Asian International
Schools Association) Sports Conference. There are four seasons
covering swimming, basketball, soccer and track and field.
All sports are for boys and girls. We also compete in some
local sports events against other schools in Colombo.
OSC Geckos have a region wide reputation for sportsmanship,
and although we like to win, we mean it when we say “It’s
not all about winning!”. |
