All parents of children attending OSC are welcome to join the PTA and be present at the meetings that are held during the school term. At OSC the relationship between parents and the school is a strong partnership and parents are on campus every day making meaningful contributions.
The PTA has two Committees chaired by PTA members. The Support Parent Committee nominates two volunteers as support parents for each homeroom to act as a close ally to the class teacher and offer assistance as necessary. The National Representative Committee is responsible for the facilitation of social and educational programmes on a regular basis.
While promoting and encouraging a close cooperation between parents, teachers and students, the PTA works closely with the SGA to organise social events and other school activities. It also helps to strengthen ties among existing parents and introduces new parents to OSC through coffee mornings and other social functions. |

| This year our dynamic
parent community was responsible for organising many of our
school events including our annual Food and Fun Fair, the
Blue Gecko Café and the United Nations Day celebrations.
