Fees For School Year 2012- 2013

(All fees are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified)

Application and registration fees
Parents will be required to make a one-time, non-refundable application and registration fee to enroll their children as students at OSC:

Mode of Payment

The school prefers payment in the invoiced currency. Payments may however be made in Sri Lankan Rupees or any other convertible currency converted at the exchange rate prevalent on the date of transaction as confirmed by the school’s business office.

Cheques and/or Bank Drafts

Should be drawn in favour of ‘The Overseas School of Colombo’ and crossed ‘A/C Payee only’ and forwarded to the school’s business office. Please indicate the invoice number or student number when submitting the payment.

Bank Transfers

All bank charges including the local bank charges of USD5.00 should be borne by the remitter to ensure that the fees are received in full. Please ensure that your bank uses our invoice number or student number as reference when making the bank transfer. All USD bank transfers should be credited to the following account:

Please consult the school’s business office for account details if remittances are to be made in currencies other than USD.

Cash Payments

For cash payments made in currencies other than Sri Lankan Rupees an additional 2% should be included to cover bank charges.

Due Date(s)

Fees should be paid on or before the due dates which are as follows:
1st Billing Period - Prior to beginning of 1st semester
2nd Billing Period - Prior to beginning of 2nd semester

Delay Surcharge

In case of late payments, an automatic surcharge of 5% per month up to a maximum of 15% (in monthly increments of 5%) will be levied on all overdue payments after the deadline dates.

Refunds

In the case of foreign currency payments any refund will be based on the Rupee equivalent as per the official receipt.

Terms and Conditions

• The Registration Fee and the Refundable Deposit must be paid on admission.
• An automatic surcharge of 5% per month up to a total of 15% (in monthly increments of 5%) will be levied on all overdue payments after the deadline dates.
• The school reserves the right to refuse entry to pupils in arrears of tuition fees.
