The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) was founded in the late sixties and is believed to be the leader in the field of International Education. More than 1,554 schools around the world offer the three programmes; IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme.
There are certain themes common to all three Programmes regardless of the age difference between students in each grade. It encourages them to adapt to the local environment while maintaining a strong sense of cultural identity; it guides the students in their inter-cultural understanding, respect for their fellow classmates and aim to see them grow into well-rounded individuals and engaged citizens.
