We believe that parental involvement in the education of their children enhances opportunities for success

At OSC, the relationship between parents and the school is a strong partnership and parents are often found on campus making meaningful contributions. Parents are also able to access information about their child’s education, and events at the school, through a dedicated Parents’ Area on this website, accessed with their own log-in and password.

All parents of children attending OSC are welcome to join the PTA (Parent-Teachers Association) and be present at the meetings that are held during the school term. While promoting and encouraging a close cooperation between parents, teachers and students, the PTA works closely with the Student Government Association to organise social events and other school activities. It also helps to strengthen ties among existing parents and introduces new parents to OSC through coffee mornings and other social functions.

Every Friday, OSC produces a newsletter, available online and from the school office, that contains, among other things, a list of PTA events that you can attend.
